In a landmark speech, SEC Chair Paul Atkins noted "To achieve President Trump's vision of making America the crypto capital of the world, the SEC must holistically consider the potential benefits and risks of moving our markets from an off-chain environment to an on-chain one." 3⃣ JPMorgan Chase enters into strategic partnership with Coinbase. JPMorgan Chase and Coinbase announced a strategic partnership that sets a new standard for customer choice and security in the innovation economy. The initial phase of the partnership includes new features for mutual customers, including direct Chase bank account to Coinbase wallet connection. 4⃣ Coinbase to launch Everything Exchange: Coinbase is planning to launch an "everything exchange" that will include tokenized real-world assets, stocks, derivatives, prediction markets and early-stage token sales. The new offerings will roll out in the next few months, first to U.S. users, followed by a "gradual international rollout based on jurisdictional approvals," Max Branzburg, vice president of product at Coinbase, told CNBC.
