the problem with every launchpad right now is they’re winning by scam pumping shit which has 0 longevity
if a launchpad really wants to win long term, they need to find a way to support/reward believers and holders of actual cult/community coins that survived the test of time
sending a coin that has no community or actual good narrative to $100m mcap in a few days isn’t how you win
nobody believes in the coin, they believe in the scam pump, which inevitably always comes to an end
as soon as people can actually believe in the community and narrative behind a coin and get rewarded for doing so, the tides will shift
coins that get launchpad team support and money injected should only be coins that are already strong, have a huge community, and that have been working for a long period of time. Actual organic coins.
nobody’s done this yet, and it’s understandable why…greed + logic forces teams to only want to support coins that they (or their stakeholders) bought up the floor on.
this isn’t a bear post on bonk or any other launchpad. just my thoughts on what it’d take to actually win as a launchpad long term + how the trenches can be repaired a bit
who’s the marginal buyer on organic coins when organic coins are never winning? why would I top blast $50k into an organic coin on bonk or jup if I know that means the team isn’t going to crime it higher?
there’s no marginal buyers for organic coins on bonk right now sadly…that’s one thing I will admit pump fun did right over bonk…they never forcibly crimed coins up or got involved with coins publicly
$tokabu is one of the only coins I see winning while not being crime right now, god willing it continues to win and shifts the tides…theres a few others like dollo as well
