Beast Brawl Betting Event begins tomorrow! Thursday, Jun 5, 2 pm Eastern Time, we will run a 24-hour @kurorobrawl Betting Event You will be able to play against others betting real money in the @Ronin_Network! The Event is Open for EVERYONE, and you can practice and play for free if you wish too Here is how it will work, read carefully: 🪜Setting up: - Everyone is allowed to play, holders, non-holders, anyone - Everyone will have access to the same team, a Team of the Week curated by our team - You will be able to deposit RON, USDC, or ETH in the Ronin network and will get the equivalent amount in USDK (a Kuroro wrapped version of USD) - USDK will only be spendable in-game - You will not be able to withdraw USDK until the Event is over - The Event will last for 24 hours ⚔️ Wagering and Matches - You will be able to enter MatchMaking and select one of 4 betting amounts, $1, $5, $10, or $100 - You will then proceed to be matched against someone betting the same amount as you - Upon entering the USDK, the balance will be deducted from your account - If you leave a game before selecting your Beasts you will forfeit the wagered amount - The winner of the Match will take the total wagered amount minus 2.5% which is the fee the Kuroro team is taking to run the Event - You are free to play as much or as little as you want 💰Prize Distribution - We will distribute your remaining USDK amount in the form of $USDC in Ronin sometime after the Event is over (aiming to have this be Friday, unless any complications arise) - To be clear, all prizes will be distributed in USDC, so we are taking the risk of converting for people who buy in RON or ETH - There will be additional Prizes in the form of Silver Ferry Ticket, $KURO, Gen2 Beasts, and possibly more, depending on the total activity we see - The extra rewards will be distributed between the people who played the biggest volume or some other special criteria decided by the team - MMR will not play a role in this particular Event - Anyone found to be exploiting the system will forfeit their ability to earn any additional reward Remember, the purpose of this Event is to test the wagering system, so we are keeping it simple This is just a first experiment, and the final version of wagering will probably take a much different form We hope you enjoy competing for real stakes This is part of our plan to add more Risk to Earn and Play to Earn mechanics into the Kuroro ecosystem!
