Solana Summer Shores (@SolSummerSeries)
Here’s a quick glimpse into the most unique crypto networking event I’ve ever attended.
Unlike other crypto events, there were no panels or booths here. Instead, a hand-picked number of people from the @solana ecosystem were invited down to Key West for 3 days of exploring and connecting.

After checking in and picking up our @moonpay swag bags on day 1, we all intro’d ourselves at a local bar before heading out to Duval street.
The night ended at a Tiki bar with 100 @solana degens singing along to Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” in perfect harmony
Day 2 was my favorite. “The Key West Kart Quest”!!!
We met up and broke off into 18 groups, each with a designated golf kart driver. We all then embarked on a photo scavenger hunt around the island, with outrageous challenges like adopting a grandma, proposing to a stranger, getting a key lime pie thrown to the face, staging a vogue photoshoot, and taking a selfie with an Ernest Hemingway lookalike.
There were also “GET MOGGED 😹🫵🏼” video challenges that had people putting on full karaoke performances and chasing roosters across Key West for the change to steal points from other teams.
Overall insane times 😂
At night time we had a good ol’ mansion party, during which we all reviewed the best entries from the scavenger hunt. Eventually after some deliberation from the @mogcoin challenge winners, a champion was crowned.
Ngl a living room full of @solana degens laughing at each other’s antics was one of the most heart-warming moments of the whole weekend.
The last day was reserved for water activities. We all took out two giant boats out to the sea to enjoy a full day of jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, and even an inflatable obstacle course in the middle of the ocean (I request this at every crypto event from now on.)
It was wild to see business deals being made in the middle of the ocean as it all went down… and I think that’s what made @SolSummerSeries so special.
True connection comes from shared experiences that are unforgettable, and that’s what this whole weekend was for many of us.
To cap the whole event, we took over a local karaoke bar. You don’t fully know someone until you hear them perform Panic At the Disco! in front of their peers.
Overall 10/10 night and a perfect end to an incredible weekend.
This whole event was the definition of SOLANA SUMMER.
