So let's address the below-expectation launch of @thep33l and see where we are at this @SeedifyFund 2.0. A few aspects to talk about. 1⃣FDV and MC at launch I heard many people fud about receiving token at 0.00025 price, while the number they remember is 100K MC, thought price at 0.00001. If presalers read more carefully, they know they bought the token at 0.00025 in the UI, and further read carefully, it's always been 100K MC and 250K FDV. For this, I hold myself accountable too, because I as a creator could've more clearly talked about this, and help those who don't understand the difference (9gagceo spent huge amount of time explaining this during $MEME launch). I think this one shall no longer cause any major issue for 2nd launch of @DescipherFund and onward, once people are now better informed. 2⃣Contract change There seems to be some technical challenges at this first launch, causing delays and the need to change contract address (different from what I've claimed at original time on staking site). I don't think this one is critical because it's not the case where we got the wrong token airdropped and caused any damage of our bags. So again, this shall no longer be an issue for 2nd launch onward once team has run through the 1st. 3⃣Leaderboard transparency I saw some people talked about the timeliness of leaderboard updates, the transparency of algorism, the quality and fairness of ranking etc. To me, this area indeed has room to improve in terms of process, UI, communications etc., but this one has the time and room to iterate along the way. 4⃣Price Action Now, this one is the elephant in the room. ONLY 4-5x, not 50x or 100x, so people get very disappointed. In terms of profit/loss, no yappers are at loss monetarily (stakers are another story depending on their entry of $SFUND, so I'm not discussing that part here). Yappers are not unhappy about the "x", but more on the actual profit numbers, because allocation size is small for the most (and remember that's because initial marketcap is small, so you have less in stake to win/lose, fair imo). Until now, I have empathy for the situation and am not against the argument, especially I know people compare with Virtual genesis launches. I obviously hoped this can be the grand launch with 30-50x (not falsely dreaming about 100x), so I'm with you. But memecoins are the hardest to predict performance. Some good ones didn't start strong, some dead ones started very strong. And I believe that's also why the 2nd launch is an AI-driven utility coin, to diversify, to test, to refine. 5⃣Final Thoughts What's unfair and harmful is to call @SeedifyFund team rugger or similar, because obviously they're not, and they're bold enough to pioneer, test and learn. I have the privilege to be in same private groups with @meta_alchemist, and have been seeing how he thinks and talks (in general, not about Seedify), and can assure you he's the kind of builder with most sincerity and humbleness. To me, this journey is only 1% done. Calling it failure is too early, but learning from setbacks is crucial. I will give my most honest feedbacks along the way as usual. Thank you for reading.
