PANews 2月26日消息，据《联合早报》报道，新加坡美罗百货商店（Metro Departmental Store）宣布接受稳定币支付，成为当地首家支持此支付方式的百货商店。顾客可在实体店及线上购物时使用泰达币（USDT）、美元稳定币（USDC）和全球美元稳定币（WUSD）支付，未来还将支持第一数码美元稳定币（FDUSD）。

美罗与加密支付公司 dtcpay 合作，推动零售业创新，以迎合科技型消费者。根据 Chainalysis 数据，2024 年第二季度新加坡稳定币支付总额达近 10 亿美元，反映市场对稳定数字支付方式的需求增长。
