I’ve had many 100x’s and a few 1,000x’s over the past two years or so.
Goat, fartcoin, griffain, coq inu, and recently final boss, to name a few…
the wins far outweigh the losses from constantly clicking despite it being mentally exhausting and depressing at times.
even when trying to swing larger size with “fundamental” positions, nothing comes close to pure speculative plays from a pnl perspective.
i don’t know if this says more about me or the state of the industry (or both).
the stuff that should do well is - for the most part - cooked.
i do worry about the speculative premium being gone for the majority of assets in this space.
