I’ve been hodling @KaitoAI NFTs since the very first day they launched. But I think it’s finally time to list them. And no this isn’t about abandoning ship because the Yapybara floor is dropping. It’s about losing my conviction. Here’s why: At first, they had no clear purpose or function, I bought them simply because I believed in Kaito. I believed an NFT should have a purpose. I assumed their first purpose would be an airdrop, and yes, they did deliver a decent $KAITO airdrop. But that’s where it ended. Sure, some projects have occasionally done small token airdrops for Genesis NFTs, but Kaito’s team has always faded these NFTs. They’ve been treated like a second child still are. No utility. No community. Not even a sense of belief around them. And they don’t seem to be planning anything extra for Yapybaras either. For them, $KAITO tokens matter more. Stakers matter more. Even the influencer crowd matters more. After all, Kaito is a SocialFi project, and the Yapybaras feel like a collection created by accident. Yapybaras are a cute IP. They could have been marketed like Pudgy Penguins. But there’s no visible plan. With no roadmap in sight, staking $KAITO simply makes more sense so that’s what I’m choosing. Stay well.
