PTN’s Collateral System is live! 📢 We’re excited to announce that v1 of our collateral system has been implemented on the Proprietary Trading Network! This means that miners will now be able to deposit PTN’s alpha token, Theta, as collateral to access capital for trading. Our v1 implementation will be a transition period, with optional participation from miners. This phase will be risk-free; all miners will have access to $250k in capital, regardless of their deposited collateral. Any collateral deposited can be withdrawn, and eliminated miners will have their collateral returned. The amount of collateral a miner can deposit during this phase is capped at 1,429 Theta. v2, with an expected launch of August 4th, will require all miners, including those in challenge period and in probation, to deposit collateral to remain active on PTN. In this phase, we will gradually increase the amount of Theta a miner can deposit as collateral, and introduce a new scoring metric, allowing miners to directly compete on their PnL.
